AWANA, a global evangelism and equipping ministry, takes its name from 2 Timothy 2:15: “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” This acronym reflects our commitment to helping children rightly handle the Word of Truth. Through engaging activities, scripture-based programs, and lively games, AWANA creates a dynamic platform for early evangelism and discipleship. Families are drawn in, Bible literacy flourishes, and children establish a steadfast faith in Christ. Come be a part of it!
Our AWANA club caters to children aged 2 to 6th grade. Here’s a quick overview of our clubs and corresponding age groups:
- Puggles: Ages 1-3
- Cubbies: Ages 3-5 (or Kindergarten)
- Sparks: Kindergarten to 2nd grade
- T&T: 3rd grade to 6th grade
We gather every Wednesday evening from September thru May, starting at 7:00 PM and concluding at 8:15 PM. The evening kicks off with a time of worship followed by exciting games setting the tone for what’s to come. Following this, children disperse into their respective clubs for engaging handbook sessions and enriching Bible lessons.
